Alas, the story of the DRC is not exactly the uplifting story one would recite to children to induce sweet dreams. It is a story of tragedy, exploitation, and greed. I consider myself lucky that I can lay down on my wonderfully comfortable bed tonight and not have to worry about militant attacks.
